Advanced Trenchless is proud to offer new trenchless methods for replacing your collapsed lines. These solutions generally require a light excavation approximately 4 foot by 6 foot fairly close to the home and another at the property line that would measure 4’ X 8’. We take special care to limit any unnecessary mess and disturbance to your landscape. Excavations are backfilled and tamped to compact the soil and allow you to refinish the areas immediatelyand not have additional material or settling to deal with this is very important to you the home owner.
The main benefits of pipe bursting are to provide an economical solution that allows us to replace your line without trenching your entire yard.
Here is how the process works: 1) We send our video camera through the line using a sound transmitter built into the camera. We locate the exact depth and location of theexisting line.
2) We do an excavation at the property near the foundation and a second at the property line.
3) We now remove small sections of pipe to accommodate our pipe bursting equipment and allow us to clean the area and pipe to accommodate the new pipe and do a proper connection.
4) We pull a ¾” heavy wired cable through the pipe and connect to bursting head and the new pipe gets connected to the head it gets pulled in behind it replacing the line as it gets pulled through.
5) As we pull the burst head through the old pipe using a 30 ton hydraulic pulling machine, we expand your old pipe into the earth, pulling a brand new 4” inch HDPE plastic pipe fused (welded) onsite with no couplers or glued connections. You will have a solid continuous piece of pipe from end to end with no joints to ever give you any problems.
6) Once the pipe is pulled all the way through, we reconnect to the existing pipe going into the home and to the city side at the property line using approved couplers designed for this application.
7) We do one final check to confirm that the connections are 100% up to spec and to our standards, and pending our approval, the excavations are backfilled and tamped to grade.
8) Now you have a brand new sewer line from your home to your property line with a minimum 50 year working life, transferrable warranty and the peace of mind knowing that you have a solid pipe solution for your home.
